Mother-Son Olympics is an evening K-5 school event, held at Original Carrollwood Park, where sons and their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, or other special female figures can enjoy a fun-filled evening of friendly competition, teamwork, and memorable moments.

K–5 Talent Show is an evening school event, held at the Original Carrollwood Recreation Center, where students showcase their unique talents for friends and family. Whether performing a skill learned through an enrichment club or sharing an individual talent, students have the opportunity to shine on stage and celebrate their accomplishments.

Hootiefest is a PTSA K-8 fundraiser and community celebration featuring carnival style games, inflatables, silent auction, raffle baskets, food, and other engaging activities for students of all ages to enjoy together.

The Middle School Dance is an evening event held under the school pavilion for all middle school students (grades 6-8). It’s a great chance to relax, make memories, and enjoy a fun night of dancing with classmates.

Holiday Shop is a week long PTSA and K-8 school fundraiser that provides students a festive, “shop-like” experience where they can practice budgeting while selecting from a wide selection of gifts for friends and family.

Read-A-Thon is a PTSA literacy-focused K-8 fundraiser held during Literacy Week where students participate in reading challenges, set personal goals, and earn prizes for their efforts.

Multicultural Night is a PTSA K-8 evening event, held at Carrollwood K-8, celebrating the rich diversity of our Owl community through performances, food, crafts, and shared cultural experiences.

Father-Daughter Dance is an evening K-5 school event, held at the Original Carrollwood Recreation Center, where girls and their fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other special male figures can enjoy a memorable night of dancing, music, refreshments, and quality time together.

The 8th Grade Dance is a special evening event held in the school cafeteria for our 8th graders. Students get the chance to make memories, enjoy music and friends, and celebrate the end of middle school together.
In addition to the events mentioned above, below are school-sponsored events led by Carrollwood K-8 teachers, staff and administration. PTSA supports these events through volunteers and resources to help strengthen family and community involvement.

Color Run is a K-8 school sponsored fundraiser where students collect donations to participate in a fun and colorful run! During the event, students run laps while passing through stations filled with colorful powder. Participation is limited to students who receive donations, and the PTSA helps support the event by providing volunteers.

STEAM Night is a K-8 school sponsored evening event where families RSVP to attend a fun night of hands-on learning activities led by teachers and staff. Throughout the event, Owls have the opportunity to explore engaging STEAM stations while spending time with family and friends. The PTSA helps support the event by providing food and volunteers.
March 19, 2027
Field Day is a K-5 school sponsored event held during students’ specials time where students participate in fun, field day-style activities such as hurdles, parachute races, and tug-of-war. Students compete alongside their grade-level classes while proudly wearing their class shirts. The event is hosted by our PE coaches and supported by the PTSA through volunteers and a sweet treat to celebrate all of the students’ hard work and efforts.
